Join us for an exclusive pre-listening event at Gloria Biograf, where you can hear IKI’s new album BODY before its official release.
Award-winning and experimental vocal ensemble IKI releases their latest album BODY on October 17th, but on October 9th, we present the full album in a unique listening experience featuring live performances. The session is followed by a discussion and Q&A moderated by radio host, journalist, and body activist Ida Rud.
BODY explores the body across physical, biological, spiritual, and societal dimensions. All sounds are created solely with the voice, blending acoustic and electronic styles. Tracks titled “Walk,” “Run,” “Dance,” and “Breathe” examine different rhythms and pulse sensations of the body. This is IKI’s fifth album and their most personal work so far.
Have an out-of-BODY-experience during the playback on Gloria Biograf’s sound system—no distractions, only you and the music in darkness.
